It was hard keeping track of their hands as well, they actually made me feel cheap! I had to get out of their but first had t o find out where a decent place to sleep would be. They claimed to be dancers but would whisper in my ear what the will and will not do. Right away the mommacita sent over three gils for me to choose. I walked the streets for hours and finally found a row of cheap bars and other Americans. The smells of tocino carts, Jeepney exhaust, and sewage was all I could handle. I could hardly belive it after the grueling 18 hour flight when we touched down and I was off! Now, I had heard it was a poor country but nothing could have prepared me for how poor. I had my ticket, passport, camera and backpack. So, I saved all the money I made working at Piccadilly’s and bought my ticket and head off to find some good times. Im a navy brat, by the time I was born my dad was stationed in Jacksonville Florida, but during the Vietnam War he spent lots of time in PI. I had always heard stories about the girls in Manilla. I didn’t get to see much in life but I knew when I graduated high school I was going to hit the road. You see Im kinda the by next door, southern style. It was my first time traveling out of the country, hell it was my first time traveling anywhere.
